Its not too late to welcome everyone back and to wish you all the best for the New Year. Never mind the problems with all the 'load-shedding' we are all experiencing, the start of a new year is the perfect time to throw off the problems of the past and start afresh. All of us excel in compiling a list of New Year's resolutions but let's face it, how many of us actually stick to these 'great expectations'?

To make 2008 truly significant, you need to be 100 percent clear as to what it is you want to achieve. You also need to become incredibly disciplined in your actions and in the process of what you do. Lastly, you need to persist.

Let us all make our new motto for the new year "Serve your Customer, Serve your Business".

Custrack Enterprise
Custrack Internet Version

The Custrack Enterprise version making it possible to use Custrack remotely via the Web is now available as an option. It replaces the existing, but outdated Custrack Web Interface Module.

Custrack Enterprise is designed to work both in conjunction with the workgroup version or as a stand-alone system.

When used with the workgroup version, Custrack Enterprise enables remote access to your database via the Internet through a web-based front-end that includes Company, People, Sales, Contacts and Technical Support. Unlike our Mobile version which is designed to work on PDAs and cellphones, Custrack Enterprise will work on any PC or laptop with access to the internet. The advantage being that you can be on holiday in Timbuktu, as long as you can find an Internet café, you can still log on! You do not need to have the actual software installed on the computer you work on. 

The basic technology set-up with Custrack Enterprise requires:

  • VPN to get into your Network
  • Windows Server with IIS and DotNet framework 3.5
  • Existing Custrack Server and SQL database

 

At present, Custrack.net has the following features and functionality:
  • Information Management
  • Contact Management
  • Sales Management
  • Product Management
  • Service Management

In time, as customer need dictates, we will expand the system as widely as the workgroup version.

As with the workgroup version, as long as you pay your annual maintenance you will be entitled to free upgrades on your licenced modules as well as telephonic support. And as an existing paying Custrack client (i.e. if you have already purchased the workgroup version and do not have any outstanding invoices), you will be entitled to a reduced price on Custrack Enterprise Module during the month of February.
